Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 years as tight-ends within the National Football League. He is one of the NFL's most effective tight ends, and the third most effective overall receiver, he has been recognized as the NFL's top tight end by the number of yards received, receptions and receptions, among other things.
Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst for FOX sports studio. Gonzalez, who has been on FOX NFL KICKOFF since the past year, is the host for the show. It airs every Sunday, at 11:00 AM ET prior to FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Gonzalez has resigned from the Falcons on March 15 2013. He signed a contract that was worth $14 million over two years. This was in spite of his claims that he was retiring at the end of the season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012 as did Gonzalez (37 years old) was the an NFL's most prolific receiver.
